Living on the Edge Conference 2022 (Online): May 21-22, 2022

This event is a highly-recommended one. It will feature several members of our Committee who will present on the key theme of home as explained below.

Theme: When you live on the edge, where is home? Perhaps a better question would be, when? For some of us, home is a physical location, whereas for others it is a state of mind, something to be found in relationships or in a space between places.

At Living on the Edge 2022: Finding Home we will hear from several presenters about what ‘home’ means to them and invite you to share how you’ve used your differences as the building blocks to find spaces in which to belong and/or how you’ve created spaces for others.

⼈とは違う⽣き⽅をしている⼈にとって、⾃分の家はどこにあるのでしょうか？あ るいは「いつ？」という質問の⽅が良いのかもしれません。ある⼈にとって家は物理的な場所ですが、ある⼈にとっては⼼の状態であり、⼈との間や場所と場所の間 に⾒出されるものです。『Living on the Edge 2022：家を⾒つける』では、登壇者の⽅々にとって「家」とは何かをお話しいただきます。他⼈との違いを強みにし て、どのように居場所を⾒つけたか、あるいは他の⼈のためにどのように居場所を 作ったかを共有したいと思います。
