Saturday, October 29, 2022 - 3:00pm

Pronunciation skills are vital for successful communication in English in today's globalized world. But there are many important questions related to pronunciation practice.

• Do learners need to sound like native speakers in order to communicate well?
• How can learners retain their L1 identity?
• When and how should learners practice their pronunciation?

In this workshop, we will look at the importance of international intelligibility when learning English as an international language (ElL) as well as some practical tips for integrating pronunciation practice with other skills as part of a balanced 4-skills course.
