What you’ve always wanted to know about studying in an international environment: Insights from a German university

Event Speaker(s):
Dr. Suzanne Gundermann
Thursday, April 13, 2017 - 4:20pm to 5:50pm

A 90-minute, very informal discussion session with university professors & students majoring in English and European languages.
This workshop aims to reduce the fear involved in studying abroad, especially in Europe. It also hopes to raise awareness of international students’ needs in Japan.
Dr. Gundermann will cover what it means to study in a non-native language, what it means to study abroad in a new (academic) environment. She will look at what to expect if both of these factors are combined and some helpful tools, tips and tricks for students.
