The July ZPD highlighted speakers will tell you all about the upcoming JALT International Conference (November 11-14 in Fukuoka): Director of Program Wayne Malcolm, Program Liaison Chelanna White , and JALT Junior Chair Mary Virgil Uchida. (JALT Junior is a special strand of JALT conference presentations related to teaching younger learners; a JALT Junior ticket costs less than a full conference ticket, and entitles the participant to attend the designated presentations, all plenaries, and the Educational Materials Exhibit.)
Afterwards, we'll break up into smaller groups to discuss those topics and, as usual, we will also have an orientation for new officers and new members, tips and best practices in teaching, getting published, Eikawa & ALT Issues, Online teaching, Hybrid teaching, and more.
