During the first hour, Andre Boyer will describe African-American Vernacular English, where it came from, and how it is used. Boyer holds a Doctorate in Education, and has his own Learning Center in Iwakuni, Japan.
During the second hour, everyone present is welcome to speak for 5 to 15 minutes about any interesting teaching ideas.
