"Designing curriculum without knowing about the brain is like designing a glove without knowing about the hand." (Tokuhama-Espinosa, 2010). If we are serious about focusing on the learner, we must understand that they’re all processing input differently. This session introduces seven research-based "brain keys" – working hypotheses that teachers can use to modify their textbooks and lessons to make them more brain-friendly. The handout provides ways to include the ideas easily with minimal preparation.
