JALT2019 will be held at WINC AICHI in Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture, from 1 - 4 November 2019. Our theme in 2019 is "Teacher Efficacy, Learner Agency." Please see our JALT2019 website for full details.
The first day of our conference (Friday, November 1) is dedicated to special workshops. We have our usual TnT workshops (TnT stands for "Technology in Teaching") and starting in 2019, we will have additional professional development workshops that will focus on honing the other areas of your professional skill set. All of these workshops are hands-on, and last either 45 or 90 minutes. Participation in these workshops requires an additional fee (3,000 yen for JALT members and 4,000 yen for non-members).
The next three days of our conference (Saturday, November 2 to Monday, November 4) has presentations, poster sessions, workshops, plenary talks, social activities, and an extensive educational materials exhibition. JALT2019 fees have been announced but registration will not open until July 1st.
JALT Junior is a conference within the main JALT International Conference that offers a unique and specialized professional development experience for teachers who are primarily teaching English to younger learners. The fees have been announced.
