Assessment for Learning

Event Speaker(s):
Dmitri Leontjev: University of Jyväskylä, Finland
Saturday, October 20, 2018 - 1:00pm to 5:30pm

The symposium wants to bring together Assessment for Learning in the range of CLIL and the CEFR.

In this symposium we will feature a number of speakers on the topic of 'Assessment for Learning in CLIL classrooms: Conceptualisations and Practical Applications'.

During the symposium, each presenter will discuss their research and research data, which we will then open to the attendees to continue and build the 'discussion' through engaging dialogue. In other words - if you were the researcher looking at this data - what discussion would you write?

Speakers/topics
Dmitri Leontjev: Assessing (for) understanding in a CLIL classroom

Mark deBoer: Learner-learner interactionist dynamic assessment instances in CLIL

Chris Carl Hale: Academic Culture as Content: Self-assessment in the CLIL
Classroom in the International Liberal Arts University

Hidetoshi Saito: Assessing formatively in CLIL-oriented junior high EFL lessons in
Japan

Maria Gabriela Schmidt : CEFR-informed peer- and self-assessment
