CUE Conference 2021 Call for Papers

The JALT CUE SIG is happy to announce that our 2021 conference will be held online on Saturday, September 11, 2021. The Call for Papers is now open and will close July 4, 2021.

Session Formats

Short Presentations  (25 minutes including Q & A, research or practice-based)

Current research or practice about linguistics, language learning, methodology, or other related topics Issues related to gender, diversity, and accessibility in college and university settings

Professional Development Workshops (45 minutes including Q & A)

These presentations are designed to hone professional skills and provide resources for presenting, writing, planning and conducting research, or other professional activities. We welcome topics related to developing leadership skills, writing grant or job applications, mentoring others, improving communication, getting involved, or anything else that you feel would help college and university educators develop professionally. Presentation skills, getting published, applying for grants, abstract writing or reviewing, or other professional development topics you think would be useful to the CUE community Session Type Live synchronous 25-minute presentations or 45-minute workshops (time includes five minutes for Q & A). Time limits will be strictly enforced.
