Kobe JALT Journal is looking for editors and reviewers!

Kobe JALT Journal is looking for editors and reviewers!

The Kobe chapter is looking for motivated volunteers who want to get involved in publishing by joining the editorial team at Kobe JALT Journal. Prospective editors and reviewers do not necessarily have to be JALT members to join!

Editors: Editors work closely with the Kobe JALT publication chair and deal with matters vital to the success of Kobe JALT Journal. Responsibilities include but are not limited to corresponding with authors via the publication email account, reviewing articles, and helping to shape the editorial direction of the journal itself. We're currently looking for 2 or 3 editors to join the journal.

Reviewers: Reviewers are responsible for reading and reviewing articles. That's it! A general knowledge of TEFL/TESOL teaching practices is recommended, but if you've been teaching for a few years, you probably have what it takes! We'll provide a rubric which reviewers can use to review articles. We're currently looking for many reviewers - upwards of 10 or more, as having a large pool of reviewers will make the publication process smoother for everyone.
