A Screening of the Documentary Film 'Obachan's Garden'

Linda Ohama will screen and lead a discussion about her highly regarded documentary film, Obachan's Garden. The film is a very moving and personal reflection, recounting the life of Murakami-san (Obaachan) who was one of more than 6,000 Japanese women who arrived on Canada's shores between 1908 and 1924 as picture brides.
