A call for proposals is now open. HOLT will be held on Saturday, March 21st, 13:00-16:00, at the University of the Ryukyus (Bldg. 3, Room 305)!
Submissions will be collected until March 9, 2020 (23:59:59 JST). From them, 8 will be selected for inclusion in the program. We will try to cover a broad range of teaching ideas and contexts, so let us hear your ideas!
Presenters will be informed by March 13, 2020. Those selected will be printed out in the event program, and then shared online with OkiJALT members after the workshop, with your permission.
Four presentations will take place simultaneously in a round-robin format. Each presenter will present 3 times for 15 minutes, as below:
1) Presenters #1-4, Rounds 1-3 @ 15 min. each + discussion (45-60 min.)
2) Coffee Break. Enjoy iced coffee and sweets. (30 min.)
3) Presenters #5-8, Rounds 4-6 @ 15 min. each + discussion (45-60 min.)
4) OGM Meeting (15 min.)
The presentations will be followed by a short Ordinary General Meeting (OGM) of the Okinawa Chapter of JALT. Join us to see how you can get more involved and find out about opportunities that JALT provides its members.
NOTE: You are responsible for bringing the equipment and materials you need, including enough paper copies of your handouts.
