This summer we are offering two exceptional new workshops for those interested in learning more about how to publish with JALT as well as those who wish to know about the peer reviewing process and may want to try their hand at becoming reviewers themselves.
On September 6 at 19:00, JALT CALL brings you Dr. Jeremy White, a Professor at the College of Information Science and Engineering at Ritsumeikan University and co-editor of the CALL-EJ journal. He will be your peer review running partner as he leads the workshop "Enhancing Peer Review: Navigating the Journal Landscape."
"This workshop aims to equip participants with the necessary skills and insights to conduct peer reviews efficiently and confidently, while addressing common pitfalls. There are several key ideas that will be discussed in this workshop: Understanding the Journal Landscape, the Reviewer, Not the Editor, Efficient Timing, Ability to Say No, and Don't Be Afraid to Ask for More.
