What you pay: If you are a JALT member, you can join the Listening SIG. You will receive our Listening Post journal and the seminar discount.

How to join: Join online of via post (as noted below) or at a JALT event with a Listening officer present. You may also contact our Listening SIG membership chair directly for information or assistance at listening@jalt.org

What am I joining?
JALT Listening SIG is the most recent special-interest groups supported by The Japan Association for Language Teaching (JALT). Find out more about membership in JALT and the Listening by visiting http://jalt.org.

What do I receive from joining?
Two issues of our publication The Listening Post, regular e-newsletters, and discounted admission to the annual Listening seminar.

How much does it cost and how do I join?
If you are a JALT member:
Regular rate: 2,000 yen
Payment and registration details are handled by JALT Central. JALT will notify the JALT Listening Membership Chair upon confirmation of payment. Your SIG membership coincides with your JALT membership.

Payments to join the SIG may be made:

online by credit card at: https://jalt.org/joining/
by using the postal money transfer form (yubin furikae) found in every issue of The Language Teacher
paying at any JALT meeting (and indicating JALT Listening SIG on the receipt)
